The Tools menu contains a list of options and additional features. Access to these items depend on your user permissions so not all the items listed below will be available.

Change Password:

This allows you to change your password for the Solus Admin site. You will need to enter your current password before changing it to a new one.

Email Summary:

This shows a summary of any emails that have been sent via the Web TV platform.

Encoder Summary:

Some formats of content item files need to be encoded before they can be viewed on a Solus screen or Web TV. All items that need to be encoded are added to a queue on the Solus server to be encoded. The encoder summary gives a quick overview of the current encoder queue showing how many items are still to be encoded.

Theme Manager:

Themes are used for Plain Text content items. They specify a format for displaying the text messages including the style and position of the text as well as an optional background image. A theme allows an easy way to ensure the appearance of text messages is consistent. If you want to change the appearance of the text then only one theme needs to be edited, not each individual plain text item.

View Deleted Content:

This is similar to the Recycle Bin on your PC in that it shows a list of content items that have been deleted from the system. They can be restored to the content manager by clicking on the name of the content item or they can be permanently be deleted by selected delete. Once an item is deleted from here it cannot be recovered so please be sure that you wish to delete it. You can click on Download to download a copy of the file to your computer.
