Changing schedule listings
Once a message has been published to a channel, you may wish to change its schedule time. To do this, you can either go to the channel and view its content schedule or open the content item and view its schedules on channels.
To amend a schedule listing, simply click on the start day/time or the end day/time. You will then have the option of changing these values.
N.B. Any changes to these settings will cause the full content schedule (across all zones) to re-start on screen upon the next check in, immediately ending any currently playing items.
Viewing past schedules
Once a schedule has finished, it is removed from the schedule listings. However, you can view finished schedule items by selecting the drop down “Past Schedules” on the content page. The list will then change to show all past schedule items for the content. When looking at a channel click the “All Schedules” tab and select the view you wish to see from the drop down. There are a number of options for this view, selected from the drop down list:
- “Past Schedules” shows only schedules that have already completed
- “Current Schedules” shows only those items playing at this moment
- “Future Schedules” displays items that have not yet begun
- “Current & Future Schedules” will show all items that are currently playing or are scheduled to play in the future (this is the default view)
It is possible to update multiple schedules of a content item at once. From the Content Manager, open up a content item and it will show all the channels that the item is currently scheduled to. You can select which schedules you would like to edit by checking the boxes beside the channel name. Then you can either delete them by clicking the Delete button or change the schedule start or finish time by selecting Start or Finish from the drop down menu and picking a date and time, then finally clicking the Go button to carry out the changes.
