Overview of the system

Solus is a fully-managed content distribution system. It provides content to remote plasma/LCD screens, streaming web TV, RSS feeds, Podcasts, mobile phones and PDAs. This document will help to familiarise the user with checking the status of the various parts of the system, creating content for deployment and scheduling content through multiple locations and devices.

Administration

Administration of the system is performed entirely from the Solus Control Panel at https://admin.solus.co.uk/. Log on to the site using the credentials (username & password) that were supplied to you at install. Upon login you will be taken to an overview page which provides an at-a-glance check on the health of your entire network. The graph is a summary of your network, showing how many of your channels are working correctly and if there are any problems which need to be resolved.
